Who we are

ScriptFix is a transcript cleanup tool operated by David Kopp. You can reach us at support@scriptfix.co.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address and sign-in identity provided when you create an account.
• Content you submit: transcripts you paste, audio or video files you upload, media links you provide, and any speaker names or edits you make.
• Usage data: counts of transcripts processed and audio minutes used, so we can apply your plan limits.
• Support messages: anything you send through the help widget, including screenshots you attach.
• Billing data: handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

How we use it

We use your content only to produce and store your cleaned transcript, to identify speakers, and to show your history back to you. We use account and usage data to run your subscription and enforce plan limits, and support messages to answer you.

We do not sell your data or use your transcripts for advertising.

Processors we rely on

• Cloud hosting and database storage for your account and transcripts.
• AI language model providers, to rewrite transcripts and infer speakers.
• Speech-to-text and speaker-separation providers, for uploaded audio and video.
• Stripe, for payments and subscription management.

These providers process your content on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Retention and deletion

Transcripts stay in your account until you delete them. Uploaded audio is kept only as long as needed to produce the transcript. You can delete any transcript at any time, or email us to close your account and remove all associated data.

Sharing links

When you create a share link, anyone holding that link can view the transcript under the rules you chose. You can revoke a link at any time.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. Email support@scriptfix.co and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

ScriptFix is not intended for anyone under 16.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email.
