Terms of service

1. Agreement

By using ScriptFix you agree to these terms. ScriptFix is operated by David Kopp. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

ScriptFix cleans up transcripts, groups them into speaker blocks, and attempts to identify who is speaking. Speaker identification is a best-effort automated guess and may be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting the output before relying on it.

3. Accounts

You need an account for most features. Keep your sign-in credentials secure and let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be at least 16 years old.

4. Plans, limits and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe on a monthly or yearly cycle and renew automatically until cancelled. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of transcripts and audio minutes; unused allowance does not roll over. One-time top-up packs do not expire. You can cancel or change your plan at any time from the pricing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you submit. You grant us the limited right to process, store and transmit your content solely to provide the service. You confirm that you have the right to upload the recordings and transcripts you submit, including any consent required from the people recorded.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use ScriptFix to:

• upload recordings you have no right to process;
• break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or overload the service;
• resell or redistribute the service as your own product.

7. Availability

We aim to keep ScriptFix available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change, and we may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using ScriptFix at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for material breach of these terms. On termination your stored transcripts may be deleted.
